Prescribing aids:
In connection with the prescription of a modern C-leg-leg prothesis the Federal Social Court (Bundessozialgericht) has decreed that insurance companies are obliged to pay as long as an improvement of the disability is not achieved completely. This means that a newer, more advanced aid has to be paid for by the companies, when advantages in use or life improvement are achieved for the patient. An aid is not to be refused with the explanation of a sufficient present aid.
